I love listening to the book suggestions on Bright Hearth and have long wished for a written list and thoughts - so this is so very exciting!! Can’t wait to follow along!!

Whoa! Did not expect to see Pattern Language on that list after the preamble. Have fun reading, though as an architect, I'm not sure what to make of it. I feel like it both simultaneously simplifies and complicates the process. That said, I love the structure of that book.

(oh and thank you for the reminder from Proverbs...in these fraught times, it's easy to forget that a soft answer is usually the best answer).

Yes...but it’s been 20 years and I don’t remember anything from it. When we get settled into our house, I hope to put up all my books which would include two classics.
