40 Before 40

This was quite tricky to narrow down, but the last few that I was deciding between ended up getting marked off the list because to were modern, American, and I had read from the author previously. I guess that means I tried to keep my list pretty broad and new to me, for better or for worse. So, here we are! I have about five to six of these books to read a year to make my goal! Where an author is plainly listed I haven’t had time to research enough what I want to read from them, but I hope through my other readings and ramblings through books I will stumble upon the titles I want. I will likely read whatever I already have on my shelf from this list this year.
